In January 2026, the Anhui Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology released the official notice of winning units for the 2025 Manufacturing "Open Competition" Key R&D Tasks. Following enterprise application, municipal recommendation, expert review and public verification, Hefei Tipsense Technology Co., Ltd. and the East China Institute of Optoelectronic Integrated Devices successfully co-won the key technology development task: "Rigid-Flexible Multi-Source Coupled Intelligent Sensing Dexterous Finger" (Task No.: JB25057).
The manufacturing open competition program focuses on critical technology bottlenecks across advanced industrial chains to cultivate superior product performance and competitive enterprises. The project targets cutting-edge robotic tactile sensing and high-precision dexterous manipulation, focusing on multi-source dynamic signals—including multi-axis force, micro-slip, and dynamic vibrations—coupled with rigid-flexible hybrid architectures.
Leveraging its expertise in PVDF flexible piezoelectric film sensors, electrode pattern design, and dynamic signal conditioning, Tipsense is advancing the conformal surface integration and array-scale deployment of tactile sensors on robotic dexterous hands, driving higher integration and reliability in robotic tactile perception.
